Netahs are a secret society of humans who can turn into animals. They're secret because they have learned over the years that humans who cannot change get jealous, suspicious, murderous. You'll never know it if you meet one, because they look just like the rest of us, until they change. Why do they change? It allows them to disappear into a landscape and easily escape human notice.
