Josh wants to be accepted as a member of the Netah elk community, but his ties to his outlaw Netah father, have shrouded Josh in suspicion.
He enters the community, marveling at the amazing technology that has allowed the shapeshifters to live in harmony with nature, and away from prying human eyes. He has much to learn about how to live as a Netah, and luckily, he finds a few friends who support him, and warn him that his father appears intent on making contact.
